Top 10 Country Musicians of All Time

Alan Jackson, Best Country Songs, Country Music Love Songs

Even though I only listened to rock music as a teen, as I entered my twenties and my tastes began to evolve. I discovered country music. Many people think that country musicians only sing about being cheated on by a lover or being hurt in a similar manner, but this genre of music is so much more than songs about failed relationships. Country music is fun, emotional and inspiring, and all of it isn’t sad. Many country songs will make you either laugh or get up and start dancing. Out of all the many country singers, there are 10 that have made my top favorites of all time.

Toby Keith

This country singer is definitely on my top ten because his music is epic. Toby Keith is one of my absolute favorite musicians because of wonderful songs like “Who’s Your Daddy,” “I Love This Bar,” “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” and “You Ain’t Much Fun.”

Brooks & Dunn

This country duo has released some really fun and catchy songs during their many years in the music business. Hillbilly Deluxe,” “Play Something Country,” and “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” make me start dancing and singing while enjoying these amazing songs.

Alan Jackson

This country musician had been around for many years and I’m sure that the millions of other fans agree that his music is awesome. Some of my all-time favorites by Alan Jackson are: “Mercury Blues,” “Don’t Rock The Jukebox,” “Little Bitty,” “Country Boy” and “Good Time.

Kenny Chesney

Just about everyone who likes country music loves Kenny Chesney’s music, because I definitely do. “You Save Me,” “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy,” and “Livin’ in Fast Forward” are only three of my many favorite songs by this wonderful and talented performer.

George Strait

This country music genius has been performing since I was a toddler, and I love nearly every single song he’s ever released. From “Write This Down,” to “Troubadour” to “I Saw God Today,” all of George’s songs are hits in my book.

Johnny Cash

Despite the fact that Johnny Cash has been dead since 2003, me and many other people still think he’s one of the absolute best country singers of all time. Even though he sang about disturbing topics like shooting, drugs and killing, his music and style was still addictive. Some of my Johnny Cash favorites include: “Ring of Fire,” “I Walk the Line” and “Folsom Prison Blues.”

Trace Adkins

Not many fans of country music don’t thoroughly enjoy Trace Adkin’s music. Songs like “You’re Gonna Miss This,” “Help Me Understand,” and “Don’t Lie,” are three of his many songs that I consider to be #1.

Tim McGraw

Although just about all his music is terrific, songs like “Back When,” “Do You Want Fries With That?,” and “Just To See You Smile” make this performer one of my favorites of all time.

Gary Allan

Gary Allan’s music is so absolutely beautiful and touching that I can’t help but love him and his songs. Some of my favorites are “Watching Airplanes,” “Life Ain’t Always Beautiful,” and “Tough Little Boys” and will always be high on my list.

Joe Nichols

Not only is Joe Nichols good looking, but he has a great voice and memorable song lyrics. What’s a Guy Gotta Do?” “Tequila Makes Her Take Her Clothes Off” and “Size Matters” are 3 of his best songs.
