Plan Ahead
Have an idea before you get into line at Tix4Tonight about what shows you might be interested in seeing and how much you want to spend in total. You would not want to waste time in line only to find out that there are not any shows you are interested in seeing or that the price is more than you can afford. If you are in Las Vegas with other people, make sure you have some type of consensus about which shows you have on your lists so that someone is not disappointed later with having to pay for a ticket to a show he or she does not want to see.
Check the Board
Before you get into line, check the call board at the Tix4Tonight booth. All of the shows the service has in stock will be listed here. New tickets arrive when the booth opens and occasionally later on in the day as the casinos realize they have more tickets than they can sell before scheduled show times. Don’t expect to find discounted tickets for the top shows in the city like Celine Dion, but miracles do happen occasionally. If top shows do appear on the board, expect them to go to some of the earliest people in line. My wife and I have gotten tickets for the Blue Man Group, Jubilee, and Abba: The Concert at a 50-percent discount from the booth.
The Clipboard
As you are waiting in line, you will see some people walking down the line with clipboards. Pay attention to what each one is saying. Some of these people are vendors who will try to sell you something, but one of the people might be a worker for Tix4Tonight. The workers for the discounted ticket vendor will have a list of all of the current tickets and can sometimes reserve tickets for you. I have made the mistake of disregarding everyone with clipboards and paid the price as people behind me had reservations for the tickets I wanted.
