This is another great place to take the kids for haircuts. Kid Snips provides a racecar chair and videos for the kids while they get their haircuts. This eliminates alot of problems from the usually traumatic haircut scenario. At the end of the appointment they give the kids a prize and a balloon. What a treat for both Parent and child. There are locations in Chicago as well as the outlying areas.

Jose, the lone owner of Bear With Me is a grandfather who has been cutting kids hair many years. He operates this shop by himself. Each and every child that comes through the door feels special and treated like they are his only customer. The shop is a fantasy land. It doesn’t have the product arrangement of the big fancy stores, but it has so many other great attributes that make it the place to go for kid’s haircuts. It was very homelike and felt comfortable and familiar. This is like going to Santa’s in the off season.

The owners have designed everything in the salon to be kid friendly. Kids are made into royalty when they walk in the door. Haircuts are easily gotten while they have great fun.

Cookie Cutters Salon. A cost friendly kids haircut location with the same great features as many others. They also have the Barbie Car chairs, airplanes and indoor playground. You are taken without the wait most of the time. Great place and price.
