The Tip of Emotional Intelligence

Intelligence Tests

A Human Resources Director stated to me “We obviously want intelligent people, but we
also want them to have emotional intelligence.” He meant that he wants to hire logical, factual,
and book smart people in the company. Though it is very important that his future employee’s
contain strength of their emotions. Due to the high demand of this type of career. Which is
why he is adding an emotional intelligence test link to his application site. The required applicants
will have to take this test to finish the application. It will help the Human Resources Manager to
differentiate between stable (EI) and unstable (EI). With accepting the qualified applicants according
to the stresses and responsibilities of the work place.

Being unemployed, I take these emotional intelligence tests all the time applying for the jobs
in today’s market economy. Taking The Free EQ Quiz at Your Membership.com and The Emotional Intelligence Test at Queendom.com made me available to be quizzed not once, but twice and was more fun than I wanted to take part in. Realizing then, there would be generated results that I would get to see made me get busy on selecting the answers that “were more like me”.

Emotional intelligence is very important to have balanced. When the maturity resounds a knowledge on what emotions and feelings are, and how fleeting they move through your interaction with life. Gaining emotional intelligence is a motivator and constrictor of one’s own prestige. It gives you the ability to be patient, make informed decisions, handle mistakes, and to just be of an interpersonal social standing. The optimistic view of having emotional intelligence is that you will always find a way through a conflict, failure, or trial (Ediorial Board,2010).

It is not logic or what you would learn from books. It is thyself, your beliefs, nit picks, favorite food, favorite song, knowing what your attracted too, what makes you angry, what makes you cry, what would make you giggle at your worst, and having the ability of showing self-expression. To know yourself so much that you have succeeded in putting your own character through a sensory adaptation. When this is done you will know most of your limits and availability’s. There will be a new vision to overlook your circumstances that are surfacing that you may or may not have any control over. The success of gaining emotional intelligence however will give you new ideas, using communication, your chosen activity, and will then contain a peace on both situations. The amazing thing is when you know thyself you find more to do. It is not by far the end of your learning. From what I’m gathering it’s only the beginning…”Rule your feelings, lest your feelings rule you” ( Publilius Syrus BCE).
