Summer is fast approaching, and the drinking season officially begins. Well, OK, I doubt it ever ended. But, the clubs are open, the night is warm, and the BBQ’s and parties will be plenty. You definitely need some cool and exciting alcoholic drinks to polish off this summer. I’ve compiled a list of some of the most popular drinks and shots that will make you the hit of any social gathering!
Apple Martini
A somewhat sour yet elegant drink, you’re sure to ask for a second!
1 part of absolut Vodka
1 part of DeKuper Sour apple Pucker Schnapps
1 part of apple juice
Pour all of the ingredients into a shaker, shake well and then strain into a Martini glass.
Cosmopolitan
Come on, you see this all over the movies. You know you want to see what all the hypes about!
1 part of vodka
1/2 oz of triple sec, 1/2 oz of lime juice, and 1/2 oz of cranberry juice
Shake all ingredients in a shaker and then strain into a martini glass. garnish with a lime wedge.
100 Miles Per Hour
You have to try this one just for the name alone. Delicious yet has a very, ummmmm, staggering effect.
1/2 oz Wild Turkey Bourbon
1/2 oz 151 rum
1/2 oz Southern Comfort peach liqueor
1/2 oz Yukon Jack
1/2 oz grenadine syrup
2 ozs of Blue Curacao liqueur
Mix all ingredients together over ice, stir or shake. Top with sprite or some other lime-flavored cola.
Sex on Acid
You can’t NOT try this one. Offer it to everyone else just to get a reaction!
1 part Jagermeister
1/2 oz Midori melon liqueur
1/2 oz black raspberry liqueur
1/2 oz pineapple juice
1/4 oz cranberry juice
Shake ingredients with ice and then serve as a shot.

The traditional way to drink this is to drop the shot of Jagermeister into a glass of Red bull, and then drink it quickly. Some have adapted it to just mixing the two together in a rocks glass, and then drinking. Whichever way, it still is to be done as a shot.

Everyone will love a chance to try this. Its become an extremely popular drink around the world.
3/4 pint of Guinness Stout Beer
1/2 shot of Irish Cream, preferably Bailey’s
1/2 shot Jameson Whiskey
Add the Irish cream and whiskey to a shot glass, layering the Cream on the bottom. Pour the beer into a glass 3/4 of the way and let settle. Drop the shot glass into the beer, chug it quickly, before it curdles.

Perfect for those who want something hard, but don’t like the taste.

Blueberry Schnapps
Pour Southern comfort into a shot glass, filling 3/4 of the way. Top off with the Blueberry Schnapps. Shoot!
