Sunsilk Hydra TLC Creme Product Review

Medium Hair, Sunsilk

I have problem hair. In fact, I have multi-problem hair. My hair is dry, fragile, baby fine, aging, and color-treated. You can’t get a whole lot worse than that.

Because my hair has all of those problems, it often looks dull and lifeless. Consequently, I am constantly in search of styling products that will give it a boost, perk it up and keep me from looking older than my 60 years.

One of the major problems I incur is that my hair breaks easily. It tears when I shampoo it. It snaps when I style it. It splits when I comb it. In fact, it breaks when I look at it the wrong way.

One of the few products I have found that helps to soothe the rough ends that are caused by all of that breakage comes from Sunsilk. It is called Hydra TLC Crème.

Made with a milk protein and honey formula, Hydra TLC hydrates the hair, infusing back in in the moisture it needs to keep it from splitting and breaking. It also works to smooth out existing flyaway hair so that your tresses look healthier than they really are.

Finally, it strengthens the hair from the inside out. It starts at the inner core and extends to the hair shaft and outer core. That way, every part of the hair is given assistance. The end result for you is a beautiful head of hair.

Rich with nutri-keratin, Hydra TLC nourishes and replenishes, giving hair time to heal from the stress and strain cause by everyday life. What more can a girl want?

The product can be used alone. However, it works even better if it is used in conjunction with Sunsilk’s Hydra TLC shampoo and conditioner.

Co-created with Paris’s own hair care expert — Teddy Charles — Sunsilk is proud of its Hydra TLC products. Well it should be. They boast the Allure Magazine Award for best in the class for dry hair.

Ingredients include:

– cetearyl alcohol,

Sunsilk Hydra TLC Crème is easy to apply. You simply shampoo and condition hair normally and then towel dry. Next, work the product throughout the hair.

A dime’s size portion should be sufficient for short hair. A nickel amount will work on medium hair. A quarter size portion is recommended for longer hair.

Finally, comb through the hair evenly with a wide toothcomb. Then, apply your usual styling products and style or let your hair dry freely in the air.

Sunsilk Hydra TLC products can be found at some beauty boutiques as well as discount department stores, drug stores and some grocery marts. The cost for Hydra TLC Crème may vary slightly from retailer to retailer but will average around $5.

Here is my summary review:

Ease of use: 5 stars. The instructions are simple. You can’t mess it up.

Effectiveness: 5 stars. This will vary slightly from one woman to another, but it seems to work on just about all dry hair.

Claim accuracy: 5 stars. This one does over boast. It says what it does and it does what it says.

Packaging: 5 stars. Sunsilk recently came up with new purple packaging for this product. It is modern, attractive, and easy to spot on the store shelf.

Green value: 2 stars. It is packaged with chemicals, additives and preservatives. However, to be fair so is just about every other product of its kind in the marketplace today.

Ease of storage: 4 stars. The bottle is slim and small enough to fit into a medicine cabinet or storage bin. However, its odd shape could made it difficult to fit into some cosmetic cases.

Availability: 5 stars. It should be available wherever Sunsilk products are sold. That includes drugstores like Rite Aide and Walgreens and discount department stores like Wal-Mart and K-Mart.

Price: 4 stars. It’s a bit more expensive than some other creams but well worth the price.

Product purchase probability: 5 stars. I will probably buy this again unless something better comes along.

Final rating: 4.4 stars.
