The baseball cage has three speeds, 40, 50, and 60 mph. The fast pitch softball cage has two speeds – the mid 40s and mid 50s. There is also a slow pitch softball cage. There are four throwing/pitching tunnels, as well. Prices start at $5 an hour Monday through Thursday. Friday is $5 all day, and Saturday and Sunday are $12 all day. There are also team specials that start at $40 an hour. Three month memberships begin at $150. Lessons are available, as are uniforms and gear.

Fun Acres is one of the best kept secrets in Springfield. It only has one baseball batting cage, but it does have three speeds: slow, medium, and fast. There is an 18 hole mini golf course that is really cheap at only $2.50 a person. This might not be the place for the serious athlete who wants to improve their hitting skills, but it is a great place for an affordable night with the family.
