Ingredients:

1 ½ cup mixed colorful bite-size melon pieces

1/3 cup sugar

1 cup crisp white wine

¼ cup brandy

¾ cup sparkling water

Ice cubes

Lime for garnish

Method:

Stir melon and sugar together in a large pitcher. Allow to stand for at least 30 minutes.

Just before serving, stir in wine, brandy and sparkling water.

To serve, place ice cubes in glass and a few pieces of melon from pitcher. Pour in Sangria.

Garnish with slice of lime.

Champagne Mojito

For brides that like a traditional flair but want to be modern at the same time, the attractive champagne Mojito fits the bill.

Ingredients:

Rose’s Lime Juice

½ Lime Wheel

3 mint leaves

Champagne

Fresh mint sprigs

Add lime wheel and mint leaves

Fill rest of glass with champagne
