Selling Jerky Direct: My Path to Joining a MLM

Jerky

I have tried my hand at the direct sales industry on a couple of occasions. The first time I sold Party-Lite candles. I enjoyed the candles, however I found it difficult to find people who were willing to allow me into their homes for parties. So that ended that career, a few years later I tried my best to promote Beauti-Control. I also had difficulties in finding willing hosts, I also loved thier products as well. Needless to say I could not keep up with the quota and soon found myself out of business and with a surplus of spa products that made great Christmas presents that year.

Quarter auctions are increasing in popularity in the area that I live and I attended one just to see what the hype was all about. It was the most exciting night of my life. I didn’t know it then but that one night would change everything a year later. I won several items that night and one of them was a bag of buffalo jerky from a company called Jerky Direct. I bought it home and gave it to my husband who claimed it was the best jerky he ever tried.

Fast forward a year later, I have now begun hosting quarter auctions in my small town to raise money for the food pantry as well as the local parks playground equipment fund. When approaching vendors I kept being asked what I sold and kept hearing about how great their companies were. I looked into a few different opportunites and nothing caught my eye, especially after my last two attempts in the past. I soon stumbled across the name Jerky Direct once again on a vendor listing page called www.quartermaniaparty.com I went ahead and clicked the link to see if this would be something that would be a good fit for my next auction. When I got to the main page I was excited about the opportunities that they had for their independent distributors. I opened another browser window and called the gentleman listed from the vendor listing and began asking questions.

One of the most exciting things about this company is the start-up cost was extremely affordable. It only cost me $12.00 and that included a prebuilt website, 2 bags of my choice of jerky, they offer so many different products that it was hard to choose, and the ability to be able to purchase at wholesale prices. I jumped on board and signed up right away. I love this company as they have several ways in which you can make money. You can build a team and create residual income, you can purchase the jerky at wholesale and sell it for retail, or you can direct customers to your website and still make money from their purchases there. The biggest thing that sold me on the business was there is no quotas, you simply pay the $12.00 a month and you get the jerky, the website and the right to purchase at wholesale.

I have chosen to resell the jerky and have had great luck at vendor fairs as well as craft shows. I also love knowing that I can build a team and create a residual income if I choose to go that route and help others build a home business for themselves. It has been a great way to teach my step-son about how to start and grow a business and how to make good financial business decisions. If you love jerky and love to make money I encourage you to take a look at this tasty business opportunity.
