Review of Fahrenheit: The Metabolism Supplement for Women

In the world of sport supplements there are literally thousands of products on the shelves that claim that they will help you lose unwanted weight (with little or no exercise), boost your metabolism or stave off hunger. Fahrenheit is not a new product but it is one of the best I have found to help increase your metabolism. This is not something that is going to give you the jitters or have some of the side effects of ephedrine but there is a small amount of caffeine in it so if you are sensitive to it, you may want to weigh out some other options.

I started taking Fahrenheit a few months ago and monitored my progress while taking it. It helped me lose a few stubborn pounds that I had been spot training and worked like a charm for the entire cycle. You need to take this for at least three weeks to see any true results from it, simply put, you aren’t going to be able to take these ‘here and there’ and expect it to work. I stared off taking one in the morning and one in the afternoon and after about five days, I upped it to two capsules. It’s important to vary your dosage amount every so often, it keeps your body from getting used to the amount.

How does this product work? The ingredients in it all work well together to raise your body’s metabolism level. This is not a miracle drug that will strip fat off of you or turn you into a supermodel after taking it for two weeks. It will help you lose a few pounds here and there but you do have to exercise and eat right. You may experience a loss of appetite while taking this but that should only last a day or two, you won’t be completely put off food but you may start to feel a little light headed if you aren’t eating often enough.

One side effect that this can have is an increased sexual drive; this is partly due to the yohimbine that is in it as well as some of the proprietary ingredients. Yohimbine isn’t listed on the ingredient panel but it is in the formulation. This is one of the things that can lead to an increased sex drive in both men and women (Biotest has a male version called Hot Rox) but this can happen when you first start taking it or as late as three weeks into your cycle. When I started taking it I noticed it after about six hours and the effects of it lasted a good three days. The increased sex drive dwindled a little after the first 72 hours but for almost the entire time I was taking this, I did notice that I was more sexually ‘aggressive’ (for lack of a better word).

A 72 capsule bottle costs anywhere from $19.99 to $29.99 depending on where you are shopping. Wal-Mart did have the absolute best price on this but most of them have stopped carrying it for an undisclosed reason. If you have a Super Wal-Mart in your area, you may still be able to find this product there. Look for it in the diet food and supplement section.

Even though this is designed for women, a few guys at the gym have taken it when they ran out of Hot-Rox or some other metabolism booster. Of course their male pride forced them to switch the bottles so they wouldn’t be seen with the red and black label that screams out “The Metabolism Breakthrough for Women” on it. Fahrenheit was developed by Biotest Laboratories under their FHEIT company label. It is something that I recommend to all my female friends who are looking to lose a few pounds without the jitters or side effects of ephedra based products.
