Review of Clarksville’s Atlantis Water Park

Atlantis, Clarksville, Kiddie Pool, Water Slides

During the summers in Kentucky the temperature index soars to scorching highs, and Kentucky families start looking for ways to cool off. Many turn to the area’s water parks to beat that summer heat. Directly across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky is Clarksville, Indiana, and it is here that you will find Atlantis Water Park. Our family has visited Atlantis Water Park several times in an attempt to beat the oppressing summer heat, and every time we visit we are pleased.

One of the things that sets Atlantis Water Park apart from other water parks in the area are the budget friendly admission prices. Admission is just $7 per person during the week, and $8 per person on weekends. Children under one year of age are always admitted free of charge. Season passes to Atlantis Water Park are available for a cost of $65 per person. Group tickets are available for groups of 35 or more.

Atlantis Water Park offers fun activities for the entire family. You can start out your day in the Tsunami Sea Wave Pool. The Tsunami Sea sends out diamond and roller waves in multiple patterns, creating waves that are daring enough for the thrill seekers to enjoy themselves, and are still gentle enough for the little ones to play in the waves in the well. After spending time in the wave pool you can move onto the Mount Olympus Water Slides. The Mount Olympus Water Slides offer four different slides that are 43 feet high, and offer over a ¼ mile of sliding, twisting fun. The little ones will have a great time in King Neptune’s Cove Kiddie Pool, which features over 6,000 square feet of space for them to frolic. King Neptune’s Cove is only for children under 40 inches, and is laid out perfectly for families. King Neptune’s Cove offers a Triple Dolphin Slide, Giant Whale Slide, Seahorse and Tortoise Slide, Whale Crawl Through Slide, and Two Rainmakers. Atlantis also boosts two regulation size sand volleyball pits.
