Review of All Seasons’ Salsa Ranch Dressing

Dressing, Peppercorn

If you’re like me, you always enjoy a good salad. When I have one, I usually want one of those over the top salads that have way too many calories to be considered healthy. You know the ones……lettuce, tomato, boiled eggs crumbled on top, cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, lots and lots of cheese, cubed ham and turkey, bacon bits, and of course ranch dressing.

But, where do you go for the best ranch dressing? It seems everyone claims to have the best on the market. Hidden Valley is even known for their ranch dressing. There’s all kinds of varieties of ranch dressing too. There’s buttermilk ranch, peppercorn, ranch with bacon, poppy seed ranch, and my new favorite-salsa ranch.

Never heard of salsa ranch dressing before? Neither had I until about a week ago, when I went to my mom’s house for Thanksgiving. My family and I traveled to her home in Mississippi for about five days to celebrate Thanksgiving. By Saturday, needless to say, we were all tired of “Thanksgiving food”. So, my mom decided that she’d make us New York strip steaks. And who can have steak without a baked potato and a salad?

So, here I am fixing my salad when my mom pulls out a bottle of All Seasons Salsa Ranch dressing. I’m thinking what is this? I’d never heard of All Seasons or salsa ranch before. She said she saw it at Wal-Mart and it looked so good, she just had to try it. So, I poured it on.

Looking at the dressing, you can tell that it is full of herbs and spices. But, how did it taste? I took one bite and thought I’d died and gone to ranch dressing heaven. My taste buds were dancing. This was the best ranch dressing I’d ever tasted! It was the perfect blend of ranch and salsa, with neither flavor overtaking the other. My husband tried it, and he agreed. This zesty salsa ranch dressing was a keeper.

When we came back in town, I had to do some grocery shopping. I had my grocery list in hand. Of course at the top of my list was All Seasons Salsa Ranch Dressing. Remembering that my mom had found it at Wal-Mart, I immediately headed there. As I scoured the shelves looking for the dressing, I was shocked to find that it was only $1.42 a bottle! What a great price for this dressing!

All Seasons Salsa Ranch Dressing has definitely become my new favorite dressing. It will be topping my salads for a long time to come.
