Cool Whip, Easy Desserts

Do you have very little time to cook for your family? If so, I am sure adding a dessert item to the menu is unthinkable. When we are limited on time for food preparation, we tend to make unhealthy choices. Here are a couple of quick and easy desserts that are healthy. These no-bake, healthy, low-sugar desserts will take about 10 minutes to prepare and they are delicious! They are also great for the holidays or any time during the year. Who could ask for anything more?

SERIOUSLY CHOCOLATE OREO PIE
#2 packages of 3.9 oz. Milk Chocolate Jello sugar-free instant Pudding Mix
#2 cups of cold 2% milk or 1% milk for less fat
8 oz. sugar-free Cool Whip
#1 package of sugar-free Oreo Cookies
#1 Fifty 50 sugar-free Graham Cracker Pie Crust or Oreo Pie Crust

Start preparing this quick and easy dessert by crushing the Oreo cookies into small pieces and set aside for later. Mix together two cups of cold milk and both instant pudding mixes in a large mixing bowl. Divide the cool whip in half. Fold half of the cool whip into the pudding mixture and mix well. Set the remaining cool whip aside for later. Cover the bottom of the sugar-free pie crust with about ½ of the crushed Oreo cookies. You may not need ½ of the crushed Oreo’s, just be sure the bottom of the pie crust is completely covered. Spoon all of the pudding mixture into the pie crust over the top of the crushed Oreo’s. Spread the other half of the cool whip evenly over the top of the pudding mixture. Finish by covering the top of the pie with the remaining crushed Oreo cookies. Delicious! Cover and place in the refrigerator until firm. You will add nine grams of sugar if substituting with the Oreo pie crust.

COCONUT DREAM PIE
#2 packages of 3.9 oz. Vanilla Jello sugar-free instant Pudding Mix
#2 cups of cold 2% milk or 1% for less fat
8 oz. sugar-free Cool Whip
#1 full cup of coconut
#1 Fifty 50 sugar-free Graham Cracker Pie Crust or low-fat Graham Cracker Pie Crust

Start preparing this quick and easy dessert by mixing together 2 cups of cold milk and both instant pudding mixes in a large mixing bowl. Divide the cool whip in half. Fold half of the cool whip into the pudding mixture and mix well. Set the remaining cool whip aside for later. Blend half of the coconut into the pudding mixture. Spoon all of the pudding mixture into the pie crust. Spread the other half of the cool whip evenly over the top of the pudding mixture. Complete this tasty dessert by covering the top of the pie with the remaining coconut. Cover and place in the refrigerator until firm.
