I have used Proactiv Solution for a few months which puts my place in the category of optimal test subject to decide if Acne Free was really better than Proactiv. Acne Free contained four pieces. However, when you order from Proactiv, regardless of how you choose to order they offer many other products that will enhance your results. To me this is misleading. The infomercial, radio spots and website make it sound as if the three piece set is all you need to achieve the results that they endorse. University Medical’s Acne Free system does not offer a bonus buy. However, it is readily available in nearly every store with a health and beauty section. No wait time is a bonus in and of itself. There is no wait time before you can try your product. It’s tangible and in your hand before your credit card is charged.
When you order Proactiv Solution you are automatically signed up to receive a new set within a specific period time. The company will send you a new set every thirty days. It also means that your credit card will be charged every thirty days for the current, non discount price that the club offers. This club version of skin care does not thrill me in the least. There is no way to tell when they will send your set or what their price will be at the time they send the set. With University Medical’s AcneFree system you must go to the store to pick up your product. However, there will never be any surprise charges on your credit card statement. You choose when you spend your money. A company does choose for you.
Proactiv Solution does not achieve the results that I would expect a product with such a high price perform. I’m sure that some people have achieved amazing results using this product. Although my skin did not show signs of major strain, such as peeling, redness or flaking, my skin was still blemish prone after three months of use. I discontinued use of Proactiv Solution the night I purchased University Medical’s Acne Free system. The botanicals used in the Acne Free system do not smell as nice as Proactiv however I achieved the exact same results. My skin did not show signs of stress, but I was still blemish prone.
