Its locally grown produce, freshly baked goods, flowers, and dairy products. If you’ve never tried one of our Farmers Markets you’ll be surprised at the different varieties of produce, bakery goods, and other items they have to sell.

Robyn Goodwin, Farmers Market Coordinator, states that the market has been voted one of the best Farmers Markets in Prince William County; it’s an honor that will be featured in Prince William Living Magazine’s May Issue.
Did you know one of the unique items sold at the Manassas Farmers Market is goat cheese ravioli…which, according to Goodwin, is “out of this world?” The residence in the area considers the market as an integral part of their community.
According to Goodwin, City Hall gets flooded with complaints when the market is cancelled for any reason.
According to the Insidenova Weekly, the Old Town Manassas Farmers Market will commence on April 7, at Water Tower, Lot B, which is across from the Manassas Train Depot.
There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Thursday (April 12) market at 9:00 a.m. at Harris Pavilion. Please take note; the market will only be open from 7:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., due to vendors’ requests.
According to Insidenova Weekly, the Haymarket Farmers Market, the main vendor, J & J Greenhouse, has been providing produce and flowers for at least nine years to the community, according to Jennifer Preli.
Preli indicated the Farmers Market keeps the tradition of buying and selling good purchased for local people. They will only take vendors who have Virginia-grown products.
The Haymarket Farmers Market will also open in April 2012. Every Saturday J & J Greenhouse, along with other local vendors will sell its items to the public beginning from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
