Pink Chanel Logo Quilted Large Shopper Tote: The Naughty Version

Chanel, Designer Bags

I sure do love me some fake designer bags. I mean, hell, I’ll be honest: I cannot afford a real-deal, Chanel bag. I can’t have a Gucci, a Louie V. or any of them other sweet, $300-plus bags. And hell, where I’m from, even if I was to have me a real designer bag, most of the folks roun’ here would call it fake anyway. No one in my neck of the woods has money like that for a damn purse! I mean nobody!

So seeing how I can’t review the real-deal, Chanel Logo Quilted Large Shopper Tote, I figured I would review the next best thing … the naughty version.

The naughty version Chanel Quilted Tote looks just like the real version. Only, it costed me twenty dolla’s. Yah just can’t beat that now, can yah!? Nope, I didn’t think so. Normally this bag retails for $110-$200, depending on where you get it. If you get it off eBay, odds are it’s a fake one anyway, and you’re getting ripped off.

So whats the bag look like?

The naughty version Chanel Quilted Tote is, of course, pink. You can get it in white, black and even blue. The bag itself appears to look as if it is quilted. They sewed it up so it up all nice and neatly to give off a diamond shaped pattern. On the left side of the bag you have a giant black C backward C logo. You know the official Chanel logo. Okay, go it? Good….to the right is a black leather pocket, that sits there looking pretty; it has no use other than that, as you can’t actually use it to put things into.

Toward the top of the bag there are 2 holes, this is where your 2 leather chords come together to form a strap. Got that?

On the inside is a zipper for your stupid little knick knacks. The zipper will have an official Chanel logo sewed neatly to it.

That’s the good version.

The Naughty version of the Chanel Tote:

Everything looks the same, the color is correct right down to the perfect shade of pink. However the area that is supposed to look quilted has some threads hanging out here and there. It’s really no big deal, when you get home you can just clip off the excess string.

The logo is on the opposite side of the bag on the naughty version, (the right side), and the little leather pocket is on the left side. On top, like the real version 2 leather cords hang, this is the handle…however you will notice some crooked sewing work. Simply ignore the defects and buy the bag anyway…if you want that is.

On the inside of the Chanel bag you will also find the exact same zipper there is in the real bag. Heck, they even add the official logo sewed to it. Pretty ain’t she!? In about a month though the zipper will jam. Sigh.

Quality:

I have had my Naughty Version of the Chanel Tote bag for almost a year, even though a lot of loose strings hang from the bag, the zipper is broken, and the leather chord peeled it’s leather away, the bag is in pretty decent condition. Yippie!

Where to buy The Naughty Version of the Large Chanel Tote:

You can find these lovely bags on New York City street corners if you are lucky…most of the time though while walking the streets an Oriental man or woman will lead you into a scary room down a dark, creepy alley. Follow the stranger, and try not to freak out. Do watch your back though, and pack heat…just in case they try robbing you at gunpoint in the back room.

Enjoy your naughty-version Chanel bag, I know I am.
