This year I am going to participate in a very cool holiday gift exchange program. I am going to be part of the Crown Royal “Pass The Crown” promotion. This is the second year Crown Royal has run this gift exchange. I am very excited not only to be a part of this event, but more importantly Crown Royal will be donating items to the military any time someone tweets using the hash tag “PassTheCrown.” When someone tweets, creates a Facebook post, or produces a YouTube video using the phrase “Pass The Crown”, they will stuff one of their signature bags and send them to the troops. Not only will you have a chance to help out our men and women in the military, but you will be having a chance to win a gift as well. I will be given a signature Crown Royal purple bag on a particular day with a clue. Once I receive the clue in the morning I have until 4 PM that day to decide if I want to open the bag or swap it with someone else. The catch is that just as I can swap my gift with someone else, they can do the exact same thing to me. So I will not know what prize I am walking away with until the promotion is completely over.
