Arts and Crafts Activities for the Letter E

Mix food coloring with egg yolks and provide paint brushes and paper so the children can use the egg yolks as paints. When the egg yolk paint dries, it will be shiny.

Science Activity for the Letter E

Prepare a lesson that explains the many different animals that are born from eggs, such as different kinds of birds, reptiles, and dinosaurs. Help each child glue a large egg shape, just at the top, onto a piece of paper so that it opens like a flap. Then have each child draw one of the animals under the egg. Any type of egg will work for snacks but hard boiled and scrambled work the best for younger children. If you are making hard boiled eggs, you can let the children dye them before peeling the eggs and eating them.
