Movie Theaters in Houston, Texas

3d Films, Art Films

Houston is a big city where all types of people flock to. So entertainment wise there are a wide variety of things to do and see like going to movies. Here is a list a movie theaters that let you do a little more than just see a movie.

Movie Tavern is the 21st Century version of a drive thru movie with a better view. It gives its guest a unique movie watching experience by letting you order and eat in the theater. With a menu of classic American comfort foods like pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries, ice cream , milkshakes and much more. The menu prices range is from $2 – $14. For the 21 and older crowd there is a separate drink menu filled with signature margaritas, wine, beer and more. The prices are $3 – $8 for single drink or glass $14 – $27 for pitchers, bottle and drinks to share. If you’re early for movie or love to chat theirs a lounge/full service bar equipped with plasma TVs. That stay tuned to sporting events and other popular programming to keep you entertained while you wait. For your movie and or dinner there are tables in front of each executive high-back leather rocker chair in stadium seated theater. Separate seating is the only glitch for those who are looking for more romantic atmosphere because it will be awkward cuddle or be close. I also don’t recommend this theater for small children because I think they will be to busy moving around since the chairs do swivel to be still and watch the movie. There are two locations Richey Road Movie Tavern 15719 I-45 North Houston, TX 77090 (281)248-8397 and Willowbrook Movie Tavern 18359 Tomball Parkway Houston, TX 77070 (832)678-2171. Call or visit www.movietavern.com for show times.
