Here’s a story of a girl name Maureen. She starred in a hit 70’s show called The Brady Bunch. She was sweet and innocent on camera but behind the scenes she was a wild child. Maureen McCormick has released an tell all book about her wild times on The Brady Bunch set and after the show was over. The book is call “Here’s The Story. She occasionally talks about her drug addictions and her dates with Michael Jackson and Steve Martin. You can find it at your local book store if your interested in her life. Maureen Denise McCormick was born on August 5th, 1956. She started her acting career by appearing in commercials for Barbie doll and Chatty Catty. She then went on to star in guest appearance on the shows Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, Honey West, The Farmer’s Daughter, and My Three Sons. Her big break came in 1969 when she was cast as Marcia on The Brady Bunch. But that is when the trouble begins. She first develop an relationship with her onscreen brother Barry Williams. She also had several family problems while starring on The Brady Bunch. Her grandmother died of syphilis. Her grandfather committed suicide a week after her grandmother’s death. Her mother also had syphilis because she got it from her mother in utero. Then Maureen found out that her father cheated on her mother. She was so stressed out that she started smoking with some of her castmates. She claims that she got Christopher Knight’s mom to buy her cigarettes since she was only 14 years old. She smoked cigarettes with her best friend and costar Eve Plumb who played Jan. But her life gets crazier after The Brady Bunch was over with.

The Brady Bunch lasted from 1969 to 1974. Once the series was over, Maureen McCormick fell into hard times. She became addicted to cocaine and Quaaludes. Her addiction cost her the role of a lifetime. She was struggling to distance herself from her character on The Brady Bunch. She had her chance when she was scheduled to talk to Steven Spielberg for a part in Raiders of the Lost Ark. But she never showed up because she was high off of cocaine. In return, Steven Spielberg threatened to stop her career in Hollywood. But it turns out that her career was already over since the only movies she was cast in was B-movies.

Cocaine ruled her life. The only thing that was important to her at that time was cocaine. She even traded sex for cocaine. She eventually became pregnant twice. And twice she chose to abort them. She also suffered from bulimia and depression. She eventually pulled her life together with the help of her now husband Michael Cummings. She eventually gave birth to his child in 1989. She is now healthy and in charge of her life. She has been recently seen on Celebrity Fit Club in which she lost 34 pounds.
