Are you a coffee lover like me that simply cant start their day without that first cup? Are you also a pothead that likes to “wake and bake”? Or are you a pothead that just loves to drink coffee? Well check out what I have for you, it’s called Pot O’ Coffee. This recipe gives you those wonderful effects of marijuana, except with a caffeine kick. So if you’re a stoned out coffeeholic, this is definitely the drink for you, and here’s how to make it.
How to Make “Pot O’ Coffee”
Using Pre-made THC Butter/Oil:
Amount of Time to Prepare: About 5 minutes
Items Needed – Coffee Pot or items that you use to make coffee, coffee grinds or coffee pods/discs, coffee filter (if necessary), and “THC” Butter/Oil.
Having pre-made “THC Butter/Oil works with both, coffee grinds, and coffee pods/discs, although there is a slight difference on how they are made.
First we will start by making your Pot O’ Coffee with a coffee machine that uses grinds or beans. Start preparing to make the coffee as usual, but before you let it brew, you are going to add an extra little kick to it. That’s right, some of your”THC” Butter/Oil ( the amount you use will depend on the amount of coffee you are making (A tablespoon of the “THC” Butter/Oil is usually used per pot). Move it around with the coffee so the coffee starts to cover it and then start the brewing process (the extremely hot water should melt the THC butter, allowing it to mix within the coffee that has been extracted). Once coffee is completed, add your favorite extras and serve (you may also choose to add some more of your special butter for a stronger effect).
Now if your more of a modern coffee drinker and you have a device that uses pods or discs, the process is slightly different since the grinds are in a sealed container. But don’t worry, you will get the same effect as if you used grinds (making it with grinds just blends better to me). First, you simply start by making your cup of coffee just as usual (use a cup that will give you some extra room). Once that is done, and your ready to add your favorite extras, add a teaspoon or two (depend on how strong you want it) of your special butter, and stir until it melts completely inside the coffee. Now the only thing left to add your favorite extras (if any) and enjoy the best coffee you have ever had.
Without Using Pre-made THC Butter/Oil:
Amount of Time to Prepare: About 25 minutes
Items Needed – Coffee Pot or items that you use to make coffee, coffee grinds or coffee pods/discs, boiling pot, 1 cup of water, 2 cups of milk, and grinded marijuana.
Making Pot O’ Coffee without “THC” Butter/Oil will take you longer than if you already have it, but even if you don’t, it’s really not that complicated. The first thing you will need to do, is grind about a ½ cup of your favorite bud. Now take the crushed buds, and mix them in the boiling pot (on low-med heat) with 1 cup of water, and 2 cups of milk. Allow the contents to simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally (the longer you allow it to simmer, the more THC that will be released. This way to extract the weed allows you to pour liquid directly in coffee, instead of waiting for it to hardened). Once you have allowed the mixture to simmer for the desired amount of time, remove and strain out weed particles. Now prepare your coffee (individually or by the pot), filling only 2/3 of the way, and use your special THC milk for the rest.
