My love first began with JLo Glow by Jennifer Lopez. My second love came shortly after, and let me tell you it’s a lover, love, love, relationship, and we’re never breaking up. Never!
I have never been a fan of Jennifer Lopez’s music or acting career…but I am a huge fan of her fragrance line, and she deserves (or whomever actually made Miami Glow) mad props!
What is Miami Glow:
As Napolean Dynamite would say: ‘Only the best freakin perfume on the market! Gosh!’
No really, it is a perfume by Jennifer Lopez, that seriously smells like the sweetest winged angels came together and made it.
Packaging:
It reminds me of a tropical paradise, a Miami sunset, a trip to the sun…but in all reality it’s a simple rectangular stand up box done up with a Miami type tropical paradise. The box color is a burnt orange and yellow that looks like a tropical Miami paradise island. The name Miami Glow suits it well.
The bottle is done just like the original JLo Glow, only it is an amber transparent bottle. Jennifer Lopez herself claims she wanted it this way to resemble a woman’s body. The bottle does resemble a woman’s body as it has large hips, and a long sexy neck. Around the neck of the bottle is a string bracelet which can be worn. Attached to the string bracelet is a small golden sandal charm.
I like to wear mine around my ankle. I have about 6 of them now; that’s how often I buy Miami Glow.
Price:
You can find Miami Glow in sets for around $29.99 during the Christmas holiday. The set comes with lotion, and a bottle of perfume. You can also buy it alone in small to large sized bottles. The price for the larger bottle will vary anywhere from $29.99 to $39.99. I have never really seen it touch the $50.00 mark.
Scent:
It’s like a kiss from the sun. Miami Glow has a summer musky scent, that I just cannot get enough of. It smells like musk, mixed with light tones of spicy cinnamon, and shades of vanilla and honey suckle. It’s truly unique, and beautiful.
What makes it so fantastic is that it is a perfect scent for them hot summer nights. It seems that the heat in the air, and the heat of your body make it smell even stronger.
Although Jenifer Lopez designed Miami Glow for summer nights; in my case, I will wear it all year round.
Lasting Power:
Like her older sister JLo Glow, Miami Glow will last, and last, and last some more. One small squirt to your jacket, and the smell will stick to it for days. Miami Glow gets the crown when it comes to lasting a long time.
Recommendation:
Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Heck yeah! Miami Glow is a truly awesome summer musk. If heaven had a scent in the summer time, it would be Miami Glow.
Finding Miami Glow:
Besides Miami, you can pick up a bottle of it at nearly any and every local superstore. I have also seen it in the perfume cabinets at CVS and Eckerd’s.
