Is There Definitive Proof of Aliens?

Nephilim, Texas Ufo, Ufos, Unidentified Flying Objects

There is ample amount of information about UFOs in circulation. The History Channel, Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, A&E;,and all sorts of documentaries on the internet provide information about UFOs, but no definitive proof of aliens. Perhaps one the most popular UFO documentaries is Chariots of The Gods, 1970, based on the book with the same title written by Erich Von Daniken. A compelling and insightful documentary, many ancient ruins are referred to and biblical connections to flying objects are explored.

One of the most interesting segments in the documentary shows several cave drawings of what appears to be astronauts. Perhaps even more interesting is the 7,000 year old drawing of an ostensibly modern airplane. Evidence from the past of supposed encounters with extra terrestrial beings does not equate to proof, but could only be labeled as compelling. As interesting and compelling these remnants are they do not provide irrefutable proof that leaves no doubt that aliens are as real as one’s left and right arm.

Why is this case? Why doesn’t the public have proof that aliens exist. As of now, the pubic is teased with plenty of documentaries that only leads to more questions, that lead to more questions. Documentaries aired on stations such as Discovery Channel, and The History Channel normally present the UFO cases in the following manner . There is the person(s) who experiences the UFO or alien phenomenon, and there is the analytical or scientific person(s) who extends critical thinking to create reasonable doubt by way of referring to a body of existing knowledge or newly ascertained knowledge.

Such radical claims do have to be questioned for the sake of scientific integrity , for those who claim to have encounters of UFOs or aliens could be lying. There is no problem in investigating claims, obviously. However, both sides of the debate usually do not provide irrefutable proof. Those who claim to have encounters with UFOs can be discredited for mistaking a weather balloon as a UFO, and the scientist who raise reasonable doubt can be discredited for faulty research.

In cases where the evidence is compelling and there simply is no basis for raising reasonable doubt by the scientist, the case is usually labeled as unexplainable partly because scientist do not wish to be viewed as disreputable by claiming aliens or UFOs exist. On the other hand, those who experience the encounter are usually adventurous, and seriously consider that they may have seen an alien space-ship or been abducted by an alien. The former is more difficult to provide evidence for than the latter. In most cases that have been aired, the abductees who have been captured by aliens do not have a picture or a video of inside the spaceship and often not even a physical object except for those who have been injected with something. Taking a picture and videotaping is unlikely because the abductees are usually scared beyond belief. Frantically making sense of the incident is usually what is going on in their minds, gathering evidence is not.

In the documentary, Return of The Nephilim, Dr. Chuck Missler, a researcher on UFOs, states, there are over 3,000 authenticated photographs of UFOs. Furthermore, there are 6,000 professional publications in English, 2,200 foreign publications, and 1,350 UFO related periodicals. Dr. Missler also mentions, prior to 1650, three-hundred books were written on the topic, and between 1650 and 1945, seven-hundred books were written.

With so much coverage on UFOs, can it be concluded with absolute certainty aliens exist? The acronym UFO stands for unidentified flying objects. This description may or may not include aliens. Even with plausible eyewitness accounts, and multiple radar sightings of UFOs, the flying objects are still unidentified, indicating they cannot be classified as terrestrial or extra terrestrial, thus they are unidentified. To describe a UFO as an alien spaceship is to identify the flying object, because the flying object has been regarded as an alien spaceship.

UFOs do not entail a relation to aliens. The flying objects may very well be top-secret military projects. Authenticated photographs of UFOs indicate, a prospective flying object is genuinely unidentifiable, and that with all known flying objects that can be terrestrially classified and referred to, a match of sort is not possible. Claiming aliens exist, is brought by the speculator, and not by the authenticated photos of UFOs. Photos are left to interpretation despite their authenticity.

Perhaps the primary reason definitive proof for the existence of aliens is hard to realize is Government interference. From the Roswell crash to the more recent UFO over Arizona, there is control over the information of such incidences. The government may control information on UFOs and aliens possibly to avoid public panic, but that is the most of obvious, of all obvious answers. Authors such as David Icke believe that aliens are real and very much in control of our government, so secrecy about aliens is mandatory since they are in control. Beliefs aside, there is very little, or no evidence that authors such as David Icke harbor definitive proof that aliens exist.

Considering certain UFO cases gathered from antiquity to modernity, admittedly there is plenty of compelling evidence, but compelling evidence is not proof. Proof leaves no room for questions, as the facts and fallacies of a particular case are distinguished in a manner that clearly vanquishes doubt. Compelling evidence in contrast suggest likelihood in terms of strength, involving doubt in some capacity.

Reasonably, compelling evidence is not to be discarded simply because its not proof. In difficult cases compelling evidence is valuable. The 7,000 year old drawing of the modern airplane mentioned earlier, does not prove that aliens exist. Based on the current understanding of the history of flight planes were not invented until thousands of years later. The artist saw something anachronistic. Education has taught us such technology did not exist at that time.

A drawing of what appears to be an airplane does not automatically bring aliens into the picture. Granted there is an enigma involved in the drawing as to how the flying object was accounted for. From the standpoint of the artist who drew the airplane like flying object, the flying object is unidentified. A modern day interpretation of the object would conclude such a flying object looks like an airplane, so this flying object is identifiable to a fair degree. Although the 7,000 year old drawing is a mystery, mystery is not a condition for the existence of aliens. This case is only compelling in the aspect of being thought provoking. If airplanes did not exist at the time, how did someone manage to draw a flying object that looks like one?

Such finds compel inquiry, and the above is a very good question, but automatically categorizing the find as related to aliens may be too hasty of a conclusion. These conclusions are perhaps driven by a strong sentiment that we are not alone in the universe, and the excitement of findings that could reasonably support such a sentiment yields one to claim, indeed such a find is alien related, when such a find is really just compelling or enigmatic.

Therein lays the agitation of the really good UFO picture, which is often compelling, but seldom a proof of the existence of aliens. Aliens and UFOs are separable. Less effort involves proving that UFOs exists than proving aliens exist. Gathering authenticated pictures of UFOs apparently are far more feasible than gathering authenticated pictures of aliens. Authentic pictures of UFOs do not seem like easy finds, comparable to finding authentic pictures of aliens, finding a picture of an authentic UFO is as easy as finding corruption in wall street. In closing, I leave you with homework. Search Youtube for “alien interview”, and you decide if the alien in the interview is real or not, warning there is no sound and low lighting.
