I Love You More – a Poem

Sterile

I love you more
when you begin to awaken
when I find you awakened
posing for dead words.

I love you more
when you’re away
when the wind steals your skin
and your mouth touches my lips my wishes.

I love you more
when edges with your hands
My love strong
when your lips are consumed
my universe sterile.

I love you more
feeling when you enter the dark
spell my name
orphan voice between moisture
and your tongue anonymous

I love you more
In the eternal moment
In the night landscape of your silhouette
In the brevity of your nails
Scratching the ink on my skin
making me
A blank canvas
exposed to the desires of your heart.
For you are someones art.
