Http://www.footballfanatics.com, NFL Chicago Bears Sunglasses

I’ll tell you what…this Mom is one happy camper these days! Not only has school started, and I have my days to myself again, but I have found an excuse to buy these sunglasses! Those in my neck of the woods know that the morning sun is brutal but the late afternoon sun can be worse, hitting you at a horrid angle while you’re trying to enjoy a late afternoon football game.

Now I admit I’m not in the running for” Mom of the year” but when Iit comes to watching kids playing football this year and during the time of day when the sun hits you square in the eyeball, I enjoy every minutee so knowing this year would be no different than any other in terms of glare, I set off to celebrate a new fall gridiron experience…in style!

Now I had no intention what so ever to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a pair of sunglasses for little old me but when I saw these beauties on a friend, it was love at first sight and when I discovered I could easily purchase them for myself on http://www.footballfanatics.com I was bound and determined that they would be mine to show my Bears support and protect my eyes from the late afternoon glare as well! At a price of only $19.99 plus S&H;, you can’t fool around checking out local stores and wasting time when you could have these shipped right to your door in days.

Not only are they the pre-requisite navy and orange but they have these cool “Bears” logos on the lenses and on top of that they feel great….and believe me, for this woman with a smallish head that is a positive! I can’t tell you how many sunglasses I have lost when they fell off my face during an exciting moment!

I remember distinctly looking into the canal in Venice, Italy and having my sunglasses fall off…if I hadn’t had them on “nerd ropes” I would have lost them for sure! And before you think they won’t fit a larger face, rest assured. My husband tried them on and declared them a great fit too! So, proves my point that that they adapt well for just about any fan.

Now the real test would come…..whether they could cut out enough sun so that I didn’t leave the game with another one of my sun-induced headaches! I decided to try them out at the bus stop one morning. Now, I can hear you…”the bus stop!…what does that have to do with these sunglasses and football?” Well, let’s just say I sit on the porch until the bus picks the kids up in the morning and my porch faces east…..instant sun glare at a ridiculous angle and before my first cup of coffee too! So, knowing how blinding the sun can be in the morning I decided it would give the sunglasses a good “try out” before the game.

Sitting on the porch at 8 am in the morning is never one of my “fav” times due to the sun, but when I walked outside with them on; I had a whole new outlook! Not only did they cut the glare but I could actually enjoy the early morning routine instead of counting the minutes until the bus came and I could go inside. Plus, I must admit, I looked pretty darn cool and that’s hard to accomplish when you are the mother of two boys!

The bottom line is this folks, they are priced at about $20 before shipping, but I figure that they will last a lot longer than the “Wally-world” variety and they certainly have a lot more character than those other knock-offs do. PLUS, they are a statement of my appreciation of the best team the NFL has ever had…OK, they are a testament to “da Bears”….the rest speaks for itself….give these babies a try, they are available in all the NFL teams.

If your local store doesn’t have them, try http://www.footballfanatics.com/ or try to have them special ordered…..though personally, I’ve had such great luck with football fanatics, I don’t think I’d even look for them elsewhere!…I’m so sure you will like them that I send out an invitation to any other NFL’er out there to get these sunglasses in their favorite team and review them as I did….I’d love to hear your opinion…and don’t forget…”GO BEARS!!!”
