Next, you will need glue and Gel pens or fine tips markers, avoid the ones that bleed when you write with them, you want to get quality pens or markers so your cards will look clean and crisp. There are literally thousands of things that you can use to decorate your cards. The more creative you are the more memorable your cards will be.

You can make Thank You cards to match the theme or color scheme for a wedding or bridal shower.

If Thank You Cards are for a baby shower you could have the cover be a picture of the mother-to-be. This could be a general picture or a picture of her holding the item the Thank You is for with a fame around it. You can purchase stock frames or you can also make your own frames with printed paper, or you can used a piece of the paper the gift was wrapped in. You can also purchase cut outs of various baby items to attach to the card. The same goes for Birthday and Christmas Thank You Cards.

If you have a general plan for your cards before you go to the store you should be able to get everything in one trip. Planning out the cards will save you time and frustration in the long run.

The inside of the card can be, “Thank You for the Toaster, I will think of you every morning while I eat Breakfast.” or, “Thank you so much for attending my Baby Shower. The Blanket you made is beautiful and I will cherish it always.” . The best Thank You Cards are simple and to the point. People just want to know you value the gift you were given.
