How to Get the Best NFL Tickets

Scalpers, Time Savings

It’s that time again sports fans for the winters gladiators to line up and play NFL football. I hope you got your season tickets? No! Well that’s where we come in. We are going to show you how rabid fans find the best NFL tickets.

Purchasing NFL Tickets at Sports Venue

Everyone knows you can call the home stadium where the game will be played and purchase tickets at face value or acquire them on the internet. But although there is a time savings it will cost you the better seats.

When purchasing NFL tickets at the venue its always preferable to go there in person and inquire about the better seats. Don’t take no for an answer. Look around and see who is managing the booth and ticket sales. Ask to speak to them or to whomever is in charge.

Tell them a long story about how big a fan you are and hit some nostalgic moments to convince this person that you are for real and want good tickets . You will be surprised how well this works. Remember if game time is within 48 hours they may not have better seats. Move on to the next best option if this doesn’t work.

Purchase Discounted NFL Tickets on Ebay

There are great seats to be had on Ebay, but be prepared to pay some premium.

If you are willing to wait till the day before the game or game day the ticket mavens will discount NFL tickets if they think they may get stuck with them. I like to offer them face value plus ten dollars if they are in town or face value plus $15 if out of town (overnight fees). They will remember you and call if they aren’t getting a lot of action.

Some of the ticket folks will get insulted but so what just move on. Its a good bet that you will find good tickets at a great value from someone on Ebay.

Same on Craig’s List, although these are usually fans who for various reasons can’t go and need to sell the tickets as soon as possible.

Purchasing Cheap NFL Tickets from Scalpers

When purchasing cheap NFL tickets at game time remember first to see the tickets and be familiar with the layout of the stadium. Sections are what you need to know and face value. Ask how much and make an offer but nothing stupid. Chances are they got the tickets on Ebay or Craig’s List and are trying to make a few bucks.

Be careful as scalping NFL tickets can be illegal in some states so know the laws. In Georgia there is an unwritten rule that you don’t sell tickets within 1500 feet of the venue until after the game is started.

Lots of deals go down in parking lots and bars. Even more under the overpass as you walk to the game. I get lots of tickets this way with good results.

If you see lots of scalpers in an area that’s were to buy. Tickets start dropping in price quickly, the closer to the game you get, so be patient. As the market moves away and the scalper panics they will start unloading them at great bargains.

Be careful you don’t buy expired or fake tickets. An for goodness sakes don’t buy press badges they are probably no good.

Most of all keep your eyes peeled at the game for those unloading additional tickets for people that can’t go to the game. They usually just want face value and are quick to bargain down
