The Texas Longhorns played one of the earliest games of the 2012 Big 12 spring football schedule with their annual game in Austin, TX. The Texas faithful are hoping to see David Ash to continue in his development. Could he be ready to start at QB in the Big 12 come fall?
Baylor: “Final Spring Scrimmage,” April 14, 2012
At Baylor’s final spring practice, their spring football game, fans will have one main question: Can anyone replace Robert Griffin III? Filling in the void created by his departure will be difficult, but it begins in spring practice.

Iowa State: “Cyclone Gridiron Club Spring Game,” April 14, 2012
AFans are hoping the Cyclone Gridiron Club Spring Game will give them hope. This spring football game could indicate how Iowa State will fare among other Big 12 teams in the fall.
The OU Athletic Department has used Oklahoma’s spring football game as the focal point for a festival. The school will be bustling with fun and excitement this entire weekend.

Oklahoma State: “Oklahoma State Spring Football Game,” April 21, 2012
Admission to the final spring practice for Oklahoma State Football is $5.00. Included in the ticket price is a chance to meet the team, after the game, and admission to the basketball game against Texas Tech, which is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
West Virginia’s traditional Gold-Blue Spring Game will start immediately following an old-timers scrimmage. This match could indicate how West Virginia will fare in the Big 12.

Kansas: “Kansas Spring Football Game,” April 28, 2012
Charlie Weis will make his debut as the coach of the Kansas Jayhawks at the team’s spring football game. This will be the first chance for fans to see where their team might be headed in the coming years.

Kansas State: “Purple and White Spring Football Game,” April 28, 2012
Kansas State will play their final practice later than most of the 2012 Big 12 spring football games. Fans who are not able to attend can listen live via K-State radio affiliates.

Location: Bill Snyder Family FB Stadium
TCU will not be hosting an open spring scrimmage in 2012. TCU fans will have to wait for the 2012 Big 12 Regular Season schedule to see their team play.
