Tips and Bits:

~ To make sock for a size medium of large foot simply add in Rounds at “Rnds 3-26” of foot section. Add in 4 rounds per inch (2 rounds per half an inch, 1 round per quarter inch) needed at the foot.

~ If you have a favorite stitch, try incorporating it in at the ankle.

~ Add color to your socks by using variegated yarn or make strips by changing the color every 2, 3 or 4 rows.

~Try different yarns. If you have ever wondered what a certain yarn will look like when crocheted, and how easy (or difficult) it is to use, then a sock pattern is a perfect time to try it out. Socks require less yarn than most so you won’t be dishing out the dough the way you would for a larger project.
