How to Accentuate Your Chest with the Way You Dress

All woman have them. Some are big (cough, lucky, cough), some are fake, and some are small. Breasts, they are one of the things that differentiate a man and a woman (although some men have large breasts as well). There is so much focus and attention zoomed on these two bundles of fat that sit right below one’s neck. It is no wonder why people with small breasts feel self conscious and not as sexy as everyone else. There are several ways to dress a small chest. There are also a lot of benefits of having a smaller chest, although it is hard to see most of the time.

Celebrity Icons: Instead of wishing you had boobs like Pamela Anderson or the Victoria Secret’s models, focus on the gorgeous stars who show off their invisible cleavage. Kate Hudson is my favorite celebrity for inspiration. She is gorgeous despite her cup size. Some other celebrities are Sienna Miller, Shakira, and Paris Hilton. They all wear whatever they want despite how it makes their breasts look.

Support: Whether you have a AAA cup or a B cup, it is crucial to have a proper bra. If you are really small, people may joke with you that you do not need a bra. Do not listen to them. A bra will help support whatever you have while covering up everything you have. Do not feel ashamed to invest in a push up bra. They can come with a little or a lot of padding, whatever you are comfortable with. A little push up can make you feel better about your body without going to the extremes, like getting plastic surgery.

Shirts and Blouses: Usually, small chested people can wear halter tops with out looking too promiscuous. With that in mind, why not show off your arms and shoulders with halter tops, tank tops, and shirts that show off your back. Printed shirts are also flattering on smaller chests because your boobs do not eat the words or picture. Avoid deep V-necks or other low scoop shirts. They will only broadcast that you do not have much, no matter how far you go down. Another great way to add the illusion that you have a great bust line is to wear shirts and blouses with pockets, ruffles, and gathering. However, do not overdo it by wearing a shirt that you do not fill out properly. This will only reverse the benefits of the ruffles.

Dresses: There are many dresses made that have low neck lines and are made especially for smaller breasts. Feel free to wear them. Also wear dresses that come higher up on the neck, ones with a sexy back (think of Kate Hudson in “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”). Super tight dresses or dresses that hang loose on your chest will only make your small chest look worst!

Misc. Tips: Fitted jackets will make your breasts look slightly larger. Also wearing a light color on the top then on the bottom can make you appear larger. Another great way to dress small breasts is to wear larger necklaces to distract from the bust line (However, the jewelry should not overwhelm you).
