There are many online places that will host your Poser freebie zip files, and make them available to others. A few of those places are 4Shared.com, and Megaupload to name a few. My biggest problems with these and other places that you can host, and share Poser freebies is first of all the amount of time you have to wait until the file is available, there’s usually a minute or so wait. Then there are the number of pop ups and ads on these pages. In many cases they are so numerous that you can even have trouble finding the file that you want to download. There have been instances where I could not find the file. Also, if a lot of time goes by and the person who owns the freebie does not periodically check and make sure their file is still available it can become unavailable. There is nothing more annoying to me than going to download a file and being told it is no longer available. There are some really great older freebies that I’ve found on Renderosity whose links are no longer good and so you can no longer get the freebie because of this.

It’s a very nice set-up and created in such a way to make visiting and downloading items very rewarding. I can’t tell you how many great Poser freebies I’ve downloaded from there, hundreds to be sure.
