Great Football Food and Drink Recipes

Whiskey Sour

Fall is in the air and with that it brings football. People are getting ready to have parties to celebrate the kickoff of the NFL season. Whether you are having people over at your house to watch the game on TV or tailgating at the stadium food and drinks are an essential part of football. Heck I even make some appetizers and drinks for my fantasy football draft. Any time you have a reason to make tasty food and great drinks we will happily use that excuse. This year when you are planning out your menu might I suggest these items?

One recipe is called Crown Wings. Imagine great wings for the game, but it gets even better with adding Crown Royal Whisky into the mix. I tried the recipe out this past weekend and they were phenomenal. After that there are a handful of drink concoctions that will be a great addition to your party that your guests will enjoy. My favorite drink out of the list below is the Crown Royal Black Manhattan. So have fun this football season rooting on your team, drafting your fantasy football players, and trying out some new food and drink ideas. No matter if you are at home or at the stadium please make sure that you drink responsibly.

How to prepare the wings: In a large bowl, combine whisky, honey, soy sauce, chili sauce, stir-fry seasoning, and garlic. Add drumettes, tossing to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in refrigerator for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.

Set up grill for direct cooking over medium-high heat. Oil grate when ready to start cooking. Let drumettes stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Place on hot, oiled grill.
