If you are anything like me, you have the hardest time finding the perfect gift for your grandpa. After all, he only needs so many pairs of socks and blue jeans. Why, is it that grandpas are so hard to shop for? Why can you not walk into a store and say, “Oh, that’s the perfect gift for Grandpa.” You try asking your grandma and she doesn’t even know what to get him. What is it that makes these older gentleman so complicated? House Shoes: I think that Grandpas might possibly live in house shoes after retiring. I know, I always see a pair at my grandpa’s house. You may be wondering how this is a good idea if they already have house shoes. House shoes wear out, and if your grandpa is a diabetic like mine is, they need to replace their shoes quite often and this includes house shoes. You can even find house shoes that are heated. You can’t actually walk around in these because they are one piece, but you can slide your feet into them while watching TV. Every grandpa would enjoy heated house shoes as a gift, but if you can’t find heated ones, try to find a pair that is very comfortable and have thick soles.
Robe: Staying warm while up and about is important to everyone isoles.Robeer. A nice, cozy, warm robe makes the perfect gift for your grandpa this holiday season. I suggest a robe that is full-length, soft, and has pockets. For an extra special touch you can get a robe that is personalized with your grandpa’s name on it, or simply one that says Grandpa or whatever you call your Grandpa.
Remote Control Organizer: When relaxing in his favorite chair,Grandpa.Remotedoesn’t want to have to get up and get the remote or TV Guide. This is why this is such a great gift. A remote control organizer that hangs off the side of your grandpa’s chair is the best option. One that has many different slots is also a great feature. Hobbies: Every grandpa either has a hobby or should. A hobby helps to keep them busy in their retirement so they don’t drive your grandma crazy. This gift could be a wide range of different hobbies. Everything from models to woodworking to RC cars make great gifts for your grandpa.
