Here are some outstanding lego day camps in Texas.

Texas Lego Day Camp #1: SMU Lego Technology Camps

One fantastic lego camp program is offered on the campus of Southern Methodist University. They host a variety of lego camps for kids entering kindergarten through eighth grade. One of their lego camps include “Crazy Contraptions” where children will build wacky machines. Some of their other camps including building cars, rockets and robots. Texas Lego Day Camp #2: Science Spectrum Lego Camp

If you live in the Lubbock area, or don’t mind making a trip to the Hub City, another great choice is offered at the Science Spectrum. These camps are usually three days long. Texas Lego Day Camp #3: American Robotics Academy Lego Camp

A third excellent program is offered through the American Robotics Academy. They have summer camps in Houston, San Antonio and Dallas. They have several different types of lego camps including “Crazy Action Contraptions”, “Lego Robotic Trebuchets” and even “Lego Miniature Golf.” These are entertaining but very educational programs. Texas Lego Day Camp #4: Insights Museum Lego Camp

If you live in or near the El Paso area, another terrific option is offered at Insights Science Museum. They offer a “Lego Mania” camp for kids ages 6-12. Texas Lego Day Camp #5: Texas A&M; University Corpus Christi

Texas A&M; in Corpus Christi offers a “Lego Battle Bots” camp. Kids will use advanced lego parts and pieces to create motorized vehicles. You can read more about it here. Even if you do not live in the Corpus Christi area, this is a fun place to visit and make it into a vacation.
