On Tuesday, July 3, 2007 The City of Chicago presents the Grant Park Orchestra at Taste of Chicago and the Macy’s Independence Eve Fireworks. The show starts at 8:00 pm.
The events that are going on during the Fourth of July, including Taste of Chicago, Nave Pier and the Fireworks displays, draw huge crowds. Public transportation is highly recommended. Fireworks show will be presented on lake front starting at 9:30 pm. The fun will be going on all day at Navy Pier, so it’s a good idea to arrive early in the day and enjoy the free entertainment at Navy Pier. There is non-stop entertainment at Navy Pier, with live entertainment, amusement park rides, a beer garden and restaurants. The famous ferris wheel gives great view of the skies and the lake. Navy Pier doesn’t reserve their fireworks for the 4th of July. There is a fireworks show every Wednesday and Saturday night during the summer.
