Fisher Price Laugh and Learn, Stride to Ride Learning Walker – A Review

Car Features, Flashing Lights

I bought this car for my daughter’s first birthday and it has been one of her favorites ever since she in now nearing two and a half.

The stride to ride walker is both a walker and a car. The walker is for the baby who is just leaning to walk, and the car is for the baby who can sit up by herself and place her feet on the ground. My daughter was 1 year when I bought the walker, and she was not yet walking but she could pull herself up. This walker enabled her to wobble around the house, and it provided her hours of fun, with all the music and flashing lights. As my daughter got older I changed the walker into the car, and she was able to safely sit down on the car, turn the wheel and push it with her feet. She is now 2 and she still adores it.

The stride to ride laugh and learn walker is the greatest example of educational entertainment. The educational aspect of the car features ABC’s, 123’s, shape sorting,
opposites and direction. The walker is a great source of motivation for the child who is just beginning to walk, or who is learning to walk. The yellow bar on top of the car provides the baby support and motivation to safely hold on and walk. The walker is also very versatile, by locking the two legs together it can easily turn into a car by as the baby gains greater control of his mobility.

The car features two modes; a “music time” mode that is full of fun music and 12 very brief songs, and a “learning time” that is full of ABC’s and 123’s. The car features a tuning steering wheel, a turning key, turning signals, a horn that, and a button for the radio. The voice of a young woman suffices as the car’s voice, and when the child plays with any of the features mentioned above the voice will state the action that is being down. For instance, if the child turns the steering wheel left, the car will say “tuning left,” if the horn is pushed the car will say, “beep, beep” The hood of the car features a shape sorter activity, and a storage compartment . The child will have to place the three different shapes into their rightful places.
