Let’s begin with invitations. You can find first birthday princess invitations at a good online party store, But if you like to be creative and would like to make them yourself here are a few ideas. You can cut out invitations in the shape of the number one (1) using pink and purple paper. Stamp and glitter crowns on the front for added detail. You can also find princess scrapbook paper and use that. Add glitter dust to the invite for a magical touch. Another idea would be to print the invitation of paper that looks old and roll up as a scroll. Tie together with ribbon to keep the scroll closed. Purchase elongated jewelry boxes used for necklaces or watches and mail the scroll invitations using those. Tip: Purchase the box before your print the wording on the craft paper. Crop paper to fit in box before printing.

Next you want to choose decorations. If a budget isn’t an issue there are many different themed princess party supplies you can purchase. Try to find princess themed party supplies that are also for first birthday. Many come in packages with plates, cups napkins, decorations and more. For those on a budget you can cut corners by simply using basic solid colored party supplies and decorations in pink and purple: the signature princess colors. You can also buy individual princess supplies instead of a whole package. Accent the solid party supplies with matching princess themed napkins or party plates.
