Eyelid Lift Without Surgery

Eyelid, Eyelid Surgery, Thermage

My Story

As I hit my 40s, I noticed that my facial skin started to sag, particularly around my eyes. I had the crows feet, bags were forming under my eyes, and people started to ask why I always looked so tired. Something needed to be done. The first thing that came to mind was fixing this pesky droop above my eyes that gave me the sleepy appearance. Here were my immediate options:

  1. Eyelid surgery, also known as blepharoplasty. High cost, potential complications, general pain in the butt. I have never had plastic surgery and don’t intend on having it in the future. No thanks.
  2. Facial excercises. Very time consuming, no immediate results, no guaranteed results, no thanks.
  3. Laser skin resurfacing or thermage. Not proven to work, expensive, semi-surgical, bleh.

I don’t know about you, but none of those options seemed that great to me. Expensive, time consuming, and potentially hazardous. So I took the bull by the horns, decided to be proactive, and began to scour the internet for solutions to my problem. I found two products to help alleviate the eyelid droop: A product by Clavin Labs that was no longer being sold, and another product called Eye Magic. Eye Magic was especially affordable at only around $25 on their website and as low as $15 on eBay. I place an eBay bid and decided to give it a try. What did I have to lose?

Once I received the product, I was a bit confused, but I sat down and read the instructions carefully to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. I probably wasted 4-5 of the strips before getting it properly adjusted, and I was amazed to see the difference this product made. I went from looking like I just woke up to looking like a 10-year-younger version of myself after just coming home from a hot date! I was instantly hooked on this miracle product that I found randomly on the internet.

So I recently found this site (Associated Content) and decided to post a little story/tutorial on this product and how I apply it, with the hopes that someone with a similar problem will find it useful and get the same effect that I have. This is me doing some public service 🙂

Applying Eye Magic

Like I said, I didn’t get it right at first. It took reading the instructions twice to understand the product and how it was intended to be applied. Here is a bit of a step-by-step on how I did it:

  1. First of all, you’ll need the Eye Magic product. You can get it from www.eyemagic.net or on eBay.
  2. Remove the strips from the backing and place it on your index finger with the sticky side up. Personally, I trim the strips slightly on each end to make sure the strips are the proper size. This may seem like a real pain, but once you get the hang of it, it takes just a second.
  3. Put a small amount of gel on the sticky side of the strip. I use a VERY small amount and let the gel mold with the sticky side of the strip to create the right stickiness and to allow me to adjust the strip correctly once its above my eyelid (see next step).
  4. Position the gel/sticky side of the strip in the crease of your eyelid and adjust as necessary. You may need to move it around a bit to get it in the sweet spot, but once its there you’ll know.
  5. Let the gel/sticky side of the strip dry a bit under your sagging eyelid skin and you are done!

I can’t speak for other people, but this product is undetectable and makes me look 15 years younger instantly, without surgery. I have been buying the product on a regular basis for the past 4 months and really don’t think I can live without it now. I hope that anyone bothered by drooping eyelid skin and who doesn’t want to get surgery gives this product a try. I’m sure I did – I’m a customer for life!
