I travel often for my job and for leisure. These travels are sometimes International so I often come back with extra foreign currency that I need to exchange. All 50 US states provide several locations in which you can do this. I have discovered several banks in Arizona that will exchange your foreign currency. There are several types of foreign currency and depending on where it came from there will be varying fees and regulations. Exchange rates and fees will vary depending on chosen location, country of origin for the currency, how common the currency is and various other foreign currency exchange government regulations. Some institutions will require an account with them in order for them to exchange your currency. I recommend that you call the desired bank and get some information before you go there to exchange your currency.

There are several banks that will exchange foreign currency, but I recommend banks that are more well known for security purposes. Most currencies can be exchanged at any of these banks, but in rare cases where rare currency is involved you may need to consult a currency specialist to get it exchanged. You can call your state government for a list of currency specialists if it is determined that you need one or you can simply call the desired institution directly.
