Nausea is a very unpleasant feeling and I’ve tried different remedies to relieve it. Some treatments worked, others did not, but the one that has worked the best for me is Emetrol. Emetrol is an anti emetic that is used to relieve nausea. I have also found that it prevents nausea as well.
I suffer from motion sickness and it can get really bad, especially if I’m sitting in the back seat of a car. Almost every time I am in the car for a long period of time, I feel pretty sick before we get to the destination. A friend of mine picked up a bottle of Emetrol for me to try. Emetrol comes in a liquid form and has a sweet cherry flavor. It was very easy for me to take this anti emetic because I also enjoyed the pleasant taste. There is no alcohol listed in the ingredients so it does not have that unpleasant medicinal taste.
Whenever I know I have an hour or longer car trip ahead of me, I take two tablespoons of Emetrol and so far it has seemed to be effective at preventing me from becoming nauseous. Normally, after some time, I would start feeling during the car ride, but Emetrol seems to stop those symptoms from occurring.
I have used other remedies for nausea and motion sickness. While a couple remedies did help to relieve some nausea and queasiness, none of them worked quite as well as Emetrol. This product is definitely something I use from now on when I am experiencing nausea or trying to prevent it. It is best to take this product alone, without any food or drink.
Of course when I’m going on a car ride, it’s best to have something in my stomach, so after the medication has absorbed into my system, I’d say about a half hour, then I’ll have something to eat. Having an empty stomach on a car ride can make me queasy. I try to not to drink too many fluids though so that I do not water down the product and make it less effective.
I would recommend Emetrol to people for use with upset stomach due to a stomach virus, motion sickness, nausea from taking hormonal contraceptives, food poisoning, nausea from eating certain foods, or for nausea that occurs from having alcoholic beverages. While Emetrol may not prevent you from vomiting, it may prevent the feelings of nausea or at least relieve the unpleasant feelings of nausea so that they are not overbearing.
Emetrol is roughly sold around $7 a bottle. It has been clinically proven to prevent nausea and it is also safe for children to use. If you decide to take Emetrol to treat your nausea, be careful if you are diabetic as Emetrol does contain sugar. Emetrol has given me the confidence to go on a long car ride without fearing the unpleasant symptoms of motion sickness.
