Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap: The Best Organic Soap

Castile Soap, Dr. Bronner

If there’s one thing I simply cannot start the morning without, it has got to be my Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap. Not only is the tingly sensation of the peppermint an ecstatic experience (regardless of daily use– this stuff simply amazes me!), but the natural ingredients also provide a daily reminder that I’m not putting weird chemicals onto my skin for absorption.

And it’s even more of a pleasure knowing that I’m saving money doing it! Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap comes off pretty dense, and is arguably in need of dilution right off the bat. I’ve tried to dilute a lot of bottle soaps in the past, and it has usually backfired on me. But not Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap; it’s great no matter the consistency.

Even the bottle says it! “Dilute: Enjoy 1 soap for 18 different uses! Guaranteed no synthetic peppermint oils & 100% vegetarian: super mild castile has outstanding water softening & cleansing powers. Preferable to harsh soap & defattening synthetics.”

Of course, that’s not all the bottle says. Dr. Bronner’s Soap labels are covered in a microscopically-fonted religious ranting that, while they deliver [scrambled] messages of peace, should not be read immediately in the morning, or else the reader will be obliged to speak in broken sentences until breakfast time.

Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap is entirely friendly, however, and even the bottle itself is made of 100% recycled plastic. This attribute pretty much makes it 100% the best organic soap, ever.

Other attributes that make Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap the best organic soap are its lack of synthetic ingredients, including chelating agents, dyes, fragrances, or whiteners, and the glycerin of the soap is retained, for superb moistening capabilities.

With all of this, it’s no wonder that Dr. Bronner’s ‘magic soaps’ took off in the 1960’s, a time when Dr. Bronner himself supposedly hounded potential buyers with his products.

What’s most magical about Dr. Bronner’s magic soaps is their diversity. They can be used to wash practically everything, including hair, pets, laundry… Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap even makes an excellent toothpaste! Although I haven’t personally used the soap as a toothpaste quite yet, it definitely wouldn’t hurt.

Nevertheless, Dr. Bronner’s multipurpose, magical, ultra organic soaps are the best thing to cross my progressiveness. Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap is extremely popular and at least worth a try– after all, it’s far from a shiny new marketing scheme that tries to put chemicals into your body.
