Commercial Hot Springs in the Pacific Northwest

Bonneville, Cascade Mountains, Hot Springs, Hot Springs Arkansas, Port Angeles

There are numerous commercial hot springs located throughout the Pacific Northwest. Most are on private land and require some sort of fee to access them. How much is charged depends on the style or type of hot springs and what is offered at each one. Some of these commercial hot springs offer some kind of overnight accommodations, while others only have daytime soaking opportunities.

Some of Oregon’s commercial hot springs include:

Blue Mountain Hot Springs is located in Detroit, Oregon. This Hot Springs is known for its hot mineral springs, swimming pools, and lodging.

Cove Warm Spring Pool is located in Cove, Oregon. This Warm Springs provides a warm water swimming pool and picnic area.

Lehmann Hot Springs is located in Ukiah, Oregon. This Hot Springs offer natural hot spring pools including camping and ATV tours. There are not as many commercial hot springs in the state of Washington. However the ones that are available are of excellent quality and condition, so be sure to check them out.


Washington’s Hot Springs

Bonneville Hot Springs and Resort is located on the Lewis and Clark Trail near North Bonneville, Washington. This natural mineral hot springs has been used for centuries by people seeking relaxation. Guests can spend the day soaking in their own private mineral water hot tub on the balcony of their room.

Goldmyer Hot Springs is nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains approximately 25 miles from North Bend, Washington. Goldmyer is a remote, very beautiful hot springs emerging from inside a old mine shaft. The water temperature at its source is 120 degrees, while the water inside the “cave” is 110 degrees. Goldmyer is located at approximately 1800 feet elevation. This hot springs has limited space, so only 20 people per day are allowed on the property. Allowing limited amount of people also helps to preserve the wilderness experience and fragile ecology of the area. Entry fee is $12.00.

There are numerous Commercial Hot Springs located throughout the state of Idaho. Central Idaho has many; here are just a few of them: Burgdorf Hot Springs, Challis Hot Springs, Gold Fork Hot Springs, and Red River Hot Springs.

Idaho’s Hot Springs

The Burgdorf Hot Springs is located near Warren, Idaho. This Hot Springs features two different size pools both of which have sandy bottoms. There are rental cabins available but you need your own supplies. No electricity! Cabins contain wood stove and oil lamp.

Hot Springs available in Southwestern Idaho are: Givens Hot Springs, Sawtooth Lodge, Silver Creek Plunge, Twin Springs Resort, and Haven Hot Springs.

Hot Springs available in South East Idaho include: Bear Lake Hot Springs, Downata Hot Springs, Indian Springs Resort, Lava Hot Springs, Maple Grove Hot Springs, Riverside Inn and Hot Springs, and Riverdale Resort Hot Springs.


Maple Grove
Hot Springs has two large soaking tubs and one large therapy pool. There is some lodging available here as well as overnight camping. Also available is a convenience store, motor coach parking, and boating facilities. The location of this Hot Springs makes for some awesome scenic views.

South Central Idaho has several nice Hot Springs as well, such as: Desert Hot Springs, Banbury Hot Springs, Magic Hot Springs, Miracle Hot Springs, Nat-Soo-Pah Hot Springs and Sliger’s Hot Springs.


Miracle Hot Springs
is located a few miles south of Hageman. There are an assortment of hot springs soaking and lodging options available. There are 2 large general admission pools and 19 private soaking pools. RV and Camping sites are available.
