I was pleasantly surprised when trying CHI Silk Infusion on my hair. It has a nice scent that is easy to enjoy. If you have not used this hair product before, it can be difficult to have an idea what CHI Silk Infusion will smell like. The scent of this hair product is enjoyable and not too strong. I would recommend CHI Silk Infusion on scent alone for women who factor this characteristic into their buying decisions. In a way, this hair product smells like shampoo or conditioner. However, there isn’t a fruity smell.
Instead, CHI Silk Infusion has a clean scent that makes your hair smell fresh. This can be beneficial in many instances where flat irons are being used in conjunction with the hairstyling product. That is usually the case when CHI Silk Infusion is involved. Many women use this hairstyling product with the CHI flat irons on their hair. Some flat irons can leave an iron scent on your hair and make it smell burned. If the flat iron is used properly, you can bypass this issue when adding CHI Silk Infusion.

If this hairstyling product cost less, I would be satisfied with its size. That is not the case when it comes to CHI Silk Infusion. It comes in different sized bottles, with two ounces being the smallest. If you tend to use a lot of product on your hair at once, I would recommend getting the largest size possible. Depending on your preferences, this may or may not be too slippery for you. The way that CHI Silk Infusion feels is similar to oil based products. However, it is much silkier and fun to use. I still had to wash my hands thoroughly after applying this hairstyling product to my hair. It will remain on your hands if you do not remove the product. That can easily make for a slippery situation.

Prepare to pay more than average for a bottle of CHI Silk Infusion. The two ounce bottle costs $9 and even more at certain retailers. I even found the same size bottle priced at $13 while checking out various stores online. That is a ridiculous price for a bottle that is smaller than most baby food containers. If you wanted to try CHI Silk Infusion just to see how well it works for your own hair, I would recommend purchasing the smallest two ounce bottle.
Just make sure to not pay more than $10 for it because you can find a six ounce bottle of CHI Silk Infusion for $15. Larger bottles cost between $19 and $39 so it is best to shop around before purchasing CHI Silk Infusion. That is of course unless you need it immediately. The price is not one of the best aspects of this hairstyling product. It can take up much of your spending budget.
Verdict
CHI Silk Infusion is a good product to use if you are looking for something that adds luster to your hair. I do not believe that this hair product provides much conditioning or moisture for hair during a long period of time. Still, it can make your hair feel and look silky depending on the hair texture. CHI Silk Infusion smells fresh and is very slick. However, some of the bottles are too small and very expensive. If you can afford it, CHI Silk Infusion is worth trying. If you also find that this hairstyling product creates great results, it will be a must-have item for your hair.
