Cha Cha Vs. KGB Text Service

Cha Cha, Kgb

There is a debate as to which text service is better Cha Cha or KGB. I must put in my two cents having worked for both companies as well as being a customer of both.

My Review of Cha Cha As An Employee

In February 2008, I signed up to work with Cha Cha. I do not remember the specifics of getting employed, but I do know that after about a month, I was done.

The interface that Cha Cha had was very confusing as a new Guide. The support system that was in place, was not very supportive. I was confused and lost. When I needed help, I did not know where to get it from. To make matters worse, it was difficult to answer questions. The system sends the same question to all Guides. In order to get the question, you have to be the first out of 2 possibly 300 Guides. It was a waste of four weeks. In those 30 days, I made $0.65. I didn’t even get paid!

Like I said, that was a year ago. I do not know what their interface is like now. I just hope that it has improved for the sake of their Guides and their customers.

The questions that we received were to be expected ranging from the obscene to the mundane to the weird.

The Cha Cha Text service is free, but I say you get what you pay for. I say this because…

As a Cha Cha Customer

…the service was horrible. I asked a very basic question one night : what time did a movie start at a particular theater in a particular city. I gave them all of the information that was needed to make the Guide do as little research as possible. It took over 6 minutes for me to get a response and when I did, I was given information for a different theater. Needless to say, I never used Cha Cha again and I do not recommend it. That brings me to…

My Review of KGB_ As An Employee

I first heard about kgb_ on a TV commercial a few months ago. The commercial made me chuckle. Then I began to see a few more. At first I thought it was Cha Cha that had changed their name and their image since they had such poor service. Come to find out kgb_ was a totally different company. I decided to log onto the website and see what they were all about. I took the kgb challenge (4 times, may I add!) but I finally passed. I was now a Special Agent. KGB pays $0.10 for every original answer and $0.05 for every recycled answer. The support system at KGB is beyond belief. The other agents are very helpful as well. The pay may not seem like much, but I set a daily goal of $5.00. I know each check I get from KGB will be $150 at the end of the month. Last month, the top Secret Agent earned over $1000.00. There is money to be made at KGB.

As a KGB_ Customer

Before I signed up to be a kgb_Special Agent, I had to test the service. I was impressed with the answer I received. I asked some obscure question about ancient paper writing. In three minutes I had an answer with a human touch. I remember it made me chuckle. That experience made me join the kgb_ forces.

In Conclusion

I have to wrap this up, my kgb_ shift starts in 4 minutes. In conclusion, the on-growing debate about which is better Cha Cha or kgb_ is not a debate at all. Without a doubt, hands down the winner is kgb_. They are timely, their answers are accurate, they pay is worth it, and the employee support is sound.
