Ever listen to truck drivers talk on while playing with a Two-way radio like a walkie talkie or a CB? Truck drivers have a language of their own and it can sound confusing if you do not know what they are saying. I want to give you a brief introduction on the language that truck drivers use when talking to one another.
Before learning the terms, you should know that Truck Drivers are good at what they do. They can pick up someone who just got their ears. Make sure you pick a handle that does not give away the fact that you are a Newbie. I have lived with a truck driver (my dad) long enough to know that truck drivers are busy men and women, so they won’t waste their time talking to someone who has nothing to say.
