The small dog area, though usually less eventful, is a nice get-a-way for your littler pet. Small dogs are able to avoid the intimidation of large dogs, and meet some friends their own size. In the small area, dogs usually spend their time rolling around with other dogs, or just giving a friendly sniff to their new buddies. Don’t be surprised when you sit down and find several four-legged pals in your lap. With a new shade structure in place, the small dog area is great for little ones throughout the summer.

It’s easy to take your dog for a quick stroll around the Park and return to the off-leash area for some more play time. Kids under twelve are not allowed within the fenced boundaries, but there is a playground adjacent to the off-leash area for two-legged playmates. Hunter Park and Biscuit Acres can easily provide an afternoon of enjoyment for the whole family.
