Rover’s
A welcoming restaurant situated in a transformed house. At Rover’s, experience upscale dining without pretentiousness; and simply enjoy a wonderfully intimate restaurant in which to share a romantic dinner. Rover’s is a place where you can taste the chef’s passion in every bite of food. The cuisine tastes as beautiful as it is presented. During your romantic dinner, dine on scrumptious menu items such as roasted duck breast, Maine lobster; or one of the chef’s signature dishes such as scrambled eggs with lime crème fraiche and white sturgeon caviar, or Hudson Valley foie gras with green apple, almond and quince. Or choose to dine on a five course chef’s tasting menu, an eight course chef’s tasting menu, or a five course vegetarian chef’s tasting menu. You can choose to add wine pairings as well. The dinner menu items are priced approximately $10 to $25 and are served tasting portion sized. The goal being for you to choose several of the items from the menu for a more pleasant dining experience. While you can dine less expensively, for the fullest experience, you should expect to spend $300 to $450 on a romantic dinner for two. If you are planning a romantic dinner for a special occasion, you might also inquire about their cake selection. Note: Reservations are recommended; which you must guarantee with a credit card. SkyCity
Located at the Space Needle, SkyCity is a revolving restaurant that offers an amazing view of Seattle. Their dinner menu includes such items as New York Strip, Northwest King Salmon, and Braised Short Ribs. Their main courses range in price from $32 to $52. Side items start at $8. SkyCity has a $30 minimum per person; so expect to spend at least $60. The food is good, but it is because of the view that it is worth spending the money on a romantic dinner at SkyCity. Reservations are strongly suggested. SkyCity is located at the Space Needle, 400 Broad Street, Seattle Washington.
Il Bistro
Il Bistro’s snug location only adds to its intimate den-like atmosphere. That coupled with its seductive lighting makes it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner. Not to mention Il Bistro also serves luscious Italian cuisine; such as their Caretto D’Agrnello (Marinated Rack of Lamb in Rosemary & Garlic with Sangiovese Wine Sauce). Il Bistro also has a nice wine list to accompany any romantic dinner; as well as a dessert menu and a well-stocked bar. And for the night owls, they have a late night menu serving lighter dishes from 10pm to 1am which are still suitable for a romantic dinner. Il Bistro is located at 93 Pike Street, Seattle Washington.
Canlis
It is easy to enjoy a romantic dinner at such a beautifully designed restaurant as Canlis. The atmosphere is upscale but inviting. The woods, stones, and the view create a natural warmth and almost a zen-like quality to your romantic dinner. The soft lighting and comfortable seating create a cozy ambiance. And the view is awe-inspiring. Canlis serves Northwest cuisine. Some sample main course selections are Wild King Pacific Salmon, Freshwater Scampi, Wagyu Steaks, and Muscovy Duck Breast. Main course selections range from $30 to $70. Sides are $7. They do also have a chef’s tasting menu with optional wine pairings. Expect to spend $250 for a romantic dinner for two. The food and the service are first-rate. Be sure to make reservations several weeks in advance. Also be aware that Canlis does have a strict dress code. Canlis is located at 2576 Aurora Ave. N.
