Best Natural Progesterone Cream

Hormonal imbalance is one of the biggest culprits of reproductive issues in women. Anything from severe PMS symptoms, fibroids and miscarriages to certain types of cancers — a woman must maintain a delicate balance in order to keep her cycle in perfect harmony. I experienced reproductive mayhem from my teenage years into adulthood, but doctors never determined any abnormalities until my 30s. Perhaps getting my hormones balanced early on could have saved me years of misery.

Prior to discovering that a fibroid was the culprit behind increasingly severe symptoms experienced after I turned 30, a friend suggested that I try “natural progesterone cream.” She had been advised by her own doctor that she had a hormonal imbalance and about the benefits of natural progesterone. Considering we had similar symptoms, I thought it was worth further research.

After reading much information online, I further discussed the use of progesterone creams with my doctor. Not only did she support the use of natural hormone creams, but she approved the product that I ultimately purchased. The results of using the cream were instant and I have been using natural progesterone cream ever since.

Natpro Cream

I found Natpro on the website, progesteronetherapy.com. It was not my first choice of creams, but the website offered so much information on my condition, that I ultimately wanted to check out their product.

The Natpro cream contains all natural ingredients. It was the most expensive of the products I tried, but it contained a higher progesterone content (2000mg/tube) than the others. For me, it was a bit too much; certain premenstrual symptoms like breast tenderness and fatigue were intensified while using Natpro.

Natpro has a clean, almond like scent and does not leave an oily residue. Perhaps the higher progesterone content would be more suitable for women with more severe symptoms, but even in smaller doses, I was not pleased by the overall results.

Source Naturals Natural Progesterone Cream

I found the Source Naturals product online at Amazon.com and I chose it because it was inexpensive, while still containing all natural ingredients. However, as we all know – you get what you pay for.

The first thing I noticed about Source Naturals was that it had an unpleasant and strong eucalyptus-like smell that reminded me of a certain facial cleanser (for teens.) Also, unlike other progesterone creams, it did not feel like a typical lotion and took a while to absorb.

With only 500mg of progesterone per tube, I noticed no improvement of symptoms. While using this cream, there was no consistency to my cycle and symptoms that had been previously improved by other products, remained the same. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

NPC Nature’s Precise Cream

If it works, don’t fix it – Nature’s Precise Cream was the first product recommended to me by my friend and it is by far, the best product I have used. This fragrance free tube of NPC contains 960mg progesterone.

Immediately upon trying this progesterone cream, symptoms improved – heavy periods, cramping, irregular cycles and breast tenderness all vanished…I was even in a good mood for a change. Perhaps it was the mid-range percentage of progesterone, but this product worked quickly and effectively for me.

Since using Nature’s Precise Cream back in 2010, I have regained a healthy and harmonious hormonal balance. Maybe I could have avoided any irregularities in the first place, had I known about such a beneficial product.
