Best Frozen Yogurt in Bakersfield, CA

Bakersfield, Friendly Service, Gelato

Bakersfield, California is the home to so many great restaurants and food shops, and frozen yogurt is certainly one of those. Here are the top 5 best places to get frozen yogurt in Bakersfield. And the great thing is four out of the five are locally owned.

1.) Daddy O’s Frozen Yogurt & Gelato

9500 Brimhall Rd #505
Bakersfield, CA 93312

With a wide selection of flavors and toppings, Daddy O’s Frozen Yogurt & Gelato features some of the best frozen yogurt in Bakersfield. It is a nice place to hang out and the treats are healthy, which is a wonderful bonus in today’s world of fast food fads. They have two locations; one on Panama and one in Rosedale. The one in Panama unfortunately doesn’t sell gelato anymore, but their gelato is delicious, especially the cherry cheesecake! As for their frozen yogurt I recommend the birthday cake (with sprinkles, of course), cheesecake (with peanut butter chips) swirled with strawberry, vanilla bean and orange sherbert mixed with vanilla (with yogurt chips). They charge by weight.

2.) Ivy’s Yogurt & Ice Cream Cafe

8200 Stockdale Hwy
Ste M2
Bakersfield, CA 93311

With wonderful customer care and a wide variety of delicious yogurt it’s no wonder why Ivy’s Yogurt & Ice Cream Cafe’ is so popular. As you are welcomed with a grin, you are offered many different choices in not only yogurt and ice cream but sandwiches as well making this an awesome place to come. The texture of their yogurt is very different from anything Ive ever tried; it’s very light and airy, almost like marshmellow. Some of their yogurts are fat free too. I recommend the blue berry cheesecake or strawberry with white chocolate chips. You can sit inside or eat outside.

3.) Manning’s Yogurt West
3780 Ming Ave
Bakersfield, CA 93309

A great atmosphere lies in wait at Manning’s Yogurt West for any that wish to make a great lunch break reality. With friendly service, and many great flavors, it’s no wonder that they could get away with charging a lot more for their services. Try a mix of peanut butter and fudgesicle and you’ll be in heaven!

4.) C C Brown’s Yogurt
4170 California Ave
Bakersfield, CA 93309

This shop is a fun one to visit because it’s like a 1950’s drug store style fountain, and even better the business has been around for 25 years. With Ghirardelli as the stores main ingredients supplier, it leaves no doubts as to the quality of the yogurt at C C Brown’s Yogurt shop. With many great tasting flavors C C Brown’s is a definite stop for anyone, but it definitely can get pricey. Some of the staff needs upgrading as well.

5.) Winchell’s Donut House
