Just like there are several types of men that I would not like to date, there are several types of male dominants. A lot of these types excite me for some reason or other, but in the end I was fortunate enough to get one that encompassed a few of these stereotypes. When in search of the perfect male dominant, you will probably come across quite a few of these. Not only do I hope you learn something from this, I also hope you have fun trying to identify some of these types when next you go to a moot and a lot of them are gathered together.
The Alpha Male:
This man is supremely sure of himself and has no problem dominating the panties off any submissive. He knows what to say and how to be dismissive enough to attract most women like flies. He has no problem being aloof and giving any type of command. He does not apologize for being male or for being dominant. He feels entitled to your submission and will do whatever he feels is necessary to keep you at his feet. Do not try to be bratty, as he would likely not tolerate it. He also would not be happy with a doormat, as he likes someone with intelligence and good enough looks so he can use his bragging rights as having the best looking subby slut. Do not bother him if you are twenty pounds overweight and do not go to the gym. He likes his girls height-weight-proportionate. He also generally incorporates sex into submission. If this is not what you are looking for, move on.
The Lazy Dom:
This guy is one of those who would always be looking for that new spanking machine that could save him from doing the spanking himself. He does not do a lot at his home and would expect you to do most things in his home. You will get very well acquainted with all the gadgets and electronic equipment in his home to do any household chore. He will also have several electronic sex toys and would be very happy to stuff you with toys and leave you in a cage the whole day. Anything to not have to do too much. When you have sex, he will also be doing the minimum to get you ready, so you better hope that you are quick to excite and that you can sustain that indefinitely. He will expect you to look after yourself, but will not dismiss you offhand if you are overweight. He knows the gym is close and you will be joining at his command. He would generally not be interested in 24/7 responsibilities either.
The Master:
This guy expects a little more from someone who wants to submit. He wants a slave who would accept his limits or lack of them. He wants someone who will literally do anything and will go through anything for him. He could be very happy with anything from a doormat to a highly trained, well-qualified girl. He is all about accepting responsibility for you and is up for making all the decisions. He will be responsible and will hold you to your promises of submission quite strictly. He will not accept anything less than the best and will want to know you better than you know yourself. He is curious, unapologetic and strict. He looks deeper than just your appearance and submission attracts him far more than anything else. He has researched BDSM and knows what to do when he plays with most tools. He is the type who would test new toys on himself first to make sure he does not harm his submissive or slave. This is a good type of dominant to go for if you have the dream of being the perfect slave.
The Player:
This guy is sometimes married, sometimes not, but not interested in relationship. He gets his jollies from playing once a week and will study whatever the techniques of the scene he prefers requires for efficiency with rapt attention. He is more interested in becoming the best player with rope than he is in building a relationship with any submissive. We have jokingly called Doms like this, “McDonalds Drive Through of BDSM”. They will move on from one sub to the next in record time. You know though that you will not get hurt, as they know what they are doing within their chosen activity.
The Daddy Dominant:
These dominants are wonderful to play with as they have a few characteristics that I particularly like. They are gentle and prefer to guide and teach their little girls how to serve and how to succeed in serving. They are strict and consistent and make sure that both punishment and reward is given when needed. They will give a submissive a look and that girl will know she has done something wrong and will need to atone. They do not scream. They do not lack control. They are responsible and loving and are interested in relationships that could even be 24/7. After the Master, these are the type of dominants that I like above all else.
The Pure Sadist:
This type of dominant is purely sadistic and will stop at nothing to figure out new ways to hurt a girl. They are sneaky and inventive and will look for new ways to torture a girl physically or mentally all the time. They need to hurt someone – it is a need and their perfect partners are the so-called masochists.
